Chia Bircher Muesli
Nutritious overnight oats packed with fibre and nutrition
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 apple grated
  • 1 pear grated
  • ⅓ cup pecan nuts
  • ½ cup coconut
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup to taste
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cardamon powder
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp fennel seeds
  • 10 pepper corns
  • 2 cloves
METHOD

1       Add the oats, apple, pear, nuts, coconut and chia seeds together.

2      Grind the spices together and add to the oats mixture.

3      Add the almond milk and maple syrup to the oats and mix well.

4      Place the mixture in an airtight container. Keep refrigerated overnight.

5      Serve with greek yogurt and fruit .
